The latest figure meets the promise we measure on this pillar.

What was promised

Attract large investments with 30 years of fiscal stability (RIGI).

Where it stands today

The official RIGI portal (Ministry of Economy) lists 24 approved projects for USD 56,198 million of declared total investment and 116,350 direct and indirect jobs: 12 in mining, 8 in oil and gas, 2 in electric power, 1 in steel and 1 in infrastructure. All 24 have their resolution published in the Official Gazette.⭐ Under evaluation it reports another 23 projects for USD 152,784 million and 126,832 jobs —almost three times the investment already approved, waiting for a decision—, split into 13 in oil and gas, 6 in mining, 3 in power and 1 in technology. That tranche is published only as an aggregate: there is no project-by-project list, so it cannot be audited the way the approved roster can. verif Oct 15, 2026 ↗

Our reading

Trend▲ improving (editorial reading, anchored to the data)
What it enables if sustained thesis
Each approval turns promise into works → immediate demand for suppliers, services and local employment — our satellite-services thesis lives off this queue. R2
30-year fiscal stability → it turns the macro course into vested rights: even if the government changes, the project goes on. It is the contract that de-risks Argentina. R2+R1
Each approved RIGI is a signal for the next one (24 approved in the tracked portfolio as of Oct 9, all 24 with a resolution published in the Official Gazette — the latest is Tecpetrol's Los Toldos II Este in Neuquén, Resolución 1771/2026 of Oct 9, USD 6,432 M in three stages —, plus 8 filed, three of them already approved by the Comité Evaluador with no resolution published yet: Toyota Zárate, Bajo del Choique and Agua Rica; since the 6 mining RIGIs of Jul 15 the row is no longer only energy, and the Jul 18 tally added steel): this row is the regime's best marketing — and 18 jurisdictions have already adhered by law (17 provinces + CABA, as of Jun 2026). What we watchReversal or delay of a key RIGI (VMOS, LNG) via injunction or a change of rule → hits the base of the thesis.

Markets linked to this pillar27

These markets belong to sectors whose activity also shows up in relation to this pillar. We show them to connect the aggregate indicator with concrete markets for goods and services that we track in the large projects. Their presence here does not mean this indicator is the cause of that demand.

Which part of this can reach your company?

The pillar shows the economic context. For a company we run a different cross-check: which projects buy what you make, who buys, when that purchase appears and what you would need to prepare to get in.
