The San Juan Legislature approved by law the Commitment Agreement and its Attachments A, B, C and D, signed on Aug 5, 2026 between the province and Vicuña Argentina S.A., which the Executive Branch had already ratified by Decreto 1066-MM-2026 of Aug 7. According to the provincial Digesto, the Agreement sets the legal regime for the DIA Contribution, the Fixed DIA Contribution, the early execution of strategic infrastructure works and the institutional conditions for developing the Vicuña Mining Project.
