The first project to enter the RIGI: a 305 MW photovoltaic solar park (31.4% capacity factor) in Jocolí (Las Heras, Mendoza), developed by Luz del Campo SA (YPF Luz + EMESA). It is built in two stages; the first installs 200 MW over 350 ha with bifacial panels. It marks the debut of the regime and of one of the few RIGI investments in Mendoza.

Construction of the solar farm, in two stages
under wayThe act approves USD 211,600,072 «to be developed in two (2) stages», with USD 204,544,000 in the first two years counted from the admission application, and sets Jan 30, 2027 as the deadline to complete the minimum investment. The first stage installs 200 MW over 350 hectares with bifacial panels. ⚠️ The resolution does not declare a start-up date: the closing year is the deadline to certify the investment, not the end of the works.

No RIGI admission resolution publishes the figure: the seventeen that are published state that the company «provided the estimate of direct and indirect employment of the Project with local integration» and do not transcribe it. The official RIGI portal publishes a single figure that adds direct and indirect jobs together and does not separate the two stages, and mixing them is exactly the error the `empleo` field exists to prevent.
